charred begininngs chapter 1Nari felt alone. As usual, Nari skipped school and played with his large, dark and super sharp dagger under the large oak tree. This tree was special because in Kougai, that was one of the only trees left in the world. Kougai was one of those technologically advanced worlds with a huge population. Most rural areas didn’t exist anymore, grassland was basically extinct; except for the patch that surrounded the oak tree. Nari felt a need to protect the tree; he was that sort of guy.
